What are you believing God for? msministries June 28, 2022 (July 28, 2022) Really? What are you believing God for RIGHT NOW? That’s a question that all of us need to be constantly asking ourselves because if we don’t know what we’re believing for, from God then how will we know that God’s active in our lives. How will we know that God is making a way in the wilderness, or that our prayers are being answered if we don’t know what we’re believing or asking God for right now. If we’re not certain about what we want God to do in our lives, then we’ll fall for anything that look remotely close to what we want. The decision to believe nothing from God will force us to live way below what God intended for us. He created us for a purpose and He wants us to believe Him for it. That belief takes action, it takes faith, and it takes intentional believing. God said, “you have not because you ask not.”God said, “ask and it shall be given to you.”God said, “you may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” So why don’t we ask? Why don’t we ask with confidence when God has told us over and over again in His word to ask and we shall receive. That reason has to do with our belief. So what makes us shrink back? The enemy. John 10:10 says The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. If we don’t know what we’re believing for then we’re going to live way below the abundant life that God has promised us. Our God is huge and He is the God of the impossible so if we’re not believing that God is going to do the impossible in our life, will He? If we’re not believing that all of His promises are yes and amen, or if we’re not believing that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world, is He? If we’re not believing that nothing can separate us from the love of God, will it? We’re not living the abundant life that God, through Jesus Christ, died to give us. God said, “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”God said, ” take delight in the LORD, and I will give you the desires of your heart.”God said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. God will not force you to live an abundant life. I know that sounds funny but if we’re not taking the abundant life by force, if we’re not living from a place of victory, and if we’re not actively seeking the things of God then that abundant life seems elusive to us. Like we just can’t seem to grasp the abundant life that Jesus Christ died to give us. Well let me tell you something, it has nothing to do with God or His word. Every word in scripture is God-breathed and useful for building up, for reproof, and for training in the way of godliness so therefore the living in abundance is more on us and what we believe because God has already declared it. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. There you go, we are thoroughly equipped. Now that I’ve shared the truth with you, what are you going to do with it? What are we declaring over yourself and your family? What are you focuses on? What are we reading? What are we watching? What are we believing for? Blessings, Michelle Please follow and like us:
